Dürksen sweeps both races
Joshua Dürksen completed a rare Formula 2 double at Monza, winning both the Sprint Race and the Feature Race across the Italian Grand Prix support weekend — a genuinely uncommon feat, since the Sprint grid is set by reversing the top 10 from qualifying specifically to spread the wins around. Dürksen backed up his Sprint win by also taking the fastest lap of that race, then defended his Feature Race lead from his own Invicta Racing teammate, Rafael Câmara, who spent the closing laps within DRS range before running out of road to complete the pass.
The Sprint Race itself was eventful, interrupted twice by safety cars across its 21 laps. Behind Dürksen, John Bennett — who started from reverse-grid pole — held on for second, with Oliver Goethe completing the podium.
Câmara claws back into the title fight
Câmara's second-place finish in the Feature Race, combined with pole position and the fastest lap, was worth 21 points on its own — the biggest single-race haul of anyone's weekend. Championship leader Nikola Tsolov, by contrast, had a quiet weekend by his own recent standards, finishing outside the top five in both races and picking up just 10 points combined.
The net result: a title fight that looked settled just two rounds ago has genuinely tightened. Câmara has cut Tsolov's lead from 22 points to 11 with four rounds remaining — Madrid, Baku, Qatar and the Abu Dhabi finale.
